What is Google Sitemap ?

A protocol introduced by Google that enables site owners to ‘inform’ search engine bots about the list of urls on a website that are available for crawling and indexing. This is especially useful for sites that contain a large number of dynamic pages (that can only be accessed via user entries and forms) because the use of a google sitemap would make it easy for web crawlers to find these pages and index them.
